Romans 1:16 – “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.”
“She said, yes!” The holiday season seems to be a popular time for engagements, and you’ve probably noticed several social media posts announcing this exciting milestone. These posts are often accompanied by a beautiful picture of a joyful couple, letting the whole world know they are in love and they don’t care who knows it. 🙂
When we have great news to share, we don’t hold back. We want others to know that something significant has happened in our lives. Engagements and weddings are prime examples. We boldly declare to the world that we are in an exclusive relationship with the one we love, and if people will listen, we’re more than happy to share why our spouse is so amazing.
In Romans 1:16, Paul writes to both Jewish and Roman believers, urging them not to be ashamed of the Gospel. The good news of a the relationship we can with God, our Creator, through faith in Jesus Christ is the most significant news we could ever share.
Take time today to consider how you can boldly and joyfully share this life-changing message with others. God offers forgiveness, acceptance, and an extravagant love unlike any we have ever experienced. If you’ve experienced that love, don’t hold back from offering that same love to your spouse. Then, think creatively about you can have spiritual conversation with those the Lord allows to cross your path. The Gospel is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes! The message needs to be shared. Praying you encounter someone this week who says, “YES!”

“A Gown with a Greater Purpose” | Atulado Ministries
“When you talk to people in Cuba, they share their blessings rather than challenges, radiating a positive outlook that inspires others. When we created the itemized shipping list for the export license, wedding dresses weren’t originally on the list—after all, the need for essentials like food and medicine is so great. Yet, God has a way of connecting people and placing the right tools in the right hands to fulfill His greater purpose.”
